Cultural Style Week London Expo 2025: A Celebration of Culture, Creativity and Community

Bigger, bolder and more diverse than ever before, the Cultural Style Week London Expo 2025 welcomed over 2,000 attendees to The Mall Wood Green for a spectacular day of cultural celebration.

Building on the success of its inaugural year, this second edition brought even more cultures to the stage, runway and market stalls, with vibrant performances, heritage fashion showcases, live music, and diverse trade and community stalls representing traditions from around the world.

The event supported my Mall Wood Green and BID Wood Green also marked the official launch of Cultural Style Week 2025 (21–27 May) — a global movement inviting people to wear their heritage with pride. Hosted by TV and BBC Radio presenter Nayha, this year’s Expo captured the spirit of cultural unity through fashion, performance and conversation.

Adding a mark of civic recognition, The Worshipful the Mayor of Haringey, Councillor Sue Jameson (2024–2025), joined the celebration to view the My Cultural Style Exhibition and enjoy highlights from the live programme.

Throughout the day, Ace of Jacks co-hosted and provided the music, keeping the atmosphere electric with a curated soundtrack that brought energy and cohesion to every segment and performance.
The fashion shows began with the My Cultural Style Children’s Fashion Show, where young models proudly shared their heritage on the runway.

Performances by Ellie (Azerbaijan) added depth and heart to a joyful and inclusive segment.

This was followed by the My Cultural Style Adults Fashion Show, launched by a powerful performance from Rhythms of the Diaspora.


Participants representing a wide range of backgrounds took to the runway, each sharing their story through dress.


The segment closed with a vibrant set from Afrobeat artist Samuel J.

At 3PM, the Cultural Heritage Show curated by Cultural Fashion & Arts offered audiences a vivid journey across continents.


The segment blended storytelling, fashion, and live performance to spotlight cultures that are often underrepresented on mainstream platforms

The events spaces were filled with market and information stalls, providing attendees the chance to shop, connect and discover.

From artisan jewellery and ethical fashion to heritage foods and cultural crafts, the market showcased small businesses and creatives from across the African, Caribbean, South Asian, East Asian, Middle Eastern and Eastern European diasporas.

The day concluded with Diaspora’s Bloom, a high-impact fashion show presented by Can’t STOP Fashion. Hosted by model and presenter Ania — who was also featured in the 2025 My Cultural Style Exhibition

The showcase honoured African and Caribbean heritage through runway presentations by standout designers including Kwame Koranteng Design.
A Day of Expression, Identity and Celebration

From morning through evening, the Cultural Style Week London Expo 2025 celebrated what it means to wear culture with pride. It brought together fashion, music, dance, and dialogue, offering every attendee a chance to engage with heritage — their own or someone else’s.

The event may have ended, but the movement continues. Cultural Style Week runs until 27 May and encourages everyone around the world to take part at work, at school, on social media by embracing their cultural identity through clothing.
