Share The Beauty Of Your Communities Cultural Heritage With Cultural Style Week

If you are a community-based cultural group, project or initiative whose primary aim is to help people from specific/diverse communities feel celebrated and supported, Cultural Style Week is an opportunity to do just that!

Cultural Style Week is a new global movement that encourages and empowers people of all backgrounds to celebrate their unique cultural heritage through fashion, and personal style!

During Cultural Style Week from 21-27 May, people from all over the world are encouraged to participate and take part wherever they are by proudly wearing their cultural styles for a day or across the week and share their picture online with the #culturalstyleweek to connect and share with others.

Our gatherings and activities promote cultural tolerance and acceptance through harmonious dialogue.

For all who take part, this is an affirming experience that brings people together across cultures and from all walks of life to celebrate the richness of cultural diversity through sharing and wearing their cultural heritage.

How You Can Take Part

We are encouraging community based groups to open up their community space and allow people from the wider community to come and learn more about their cultural ideals of beauty.

This can include:

  • Talks and workshops about cultural fashion

  • Community fashion shows

  • Pop-ups for cultural fashion and beauty accessories

  • And more
