Come and enjoy a visual spectacle of cultural fashion, dance and performance at the ‘My Cultural Style Children's Fashion Show’ on Saturday 27 May 2023.
Our community event partner Cultural Fashion & Arts are hosting a children's fashion show and fundraiser event for Refugee Action and Refugee Education UK, as part of Cultural Style Week.
For the ‘My Cultural Style Children's Fashion Show’ Cultural Fashion & Arts will use cultural fashion as a platform for engaging through diversity, but this time with a special focus on the youth. Young participants will take to the runway, sharing their cultural clothing and talking about what it means to them. There will also be cultural dance performances, spoken word, and more!
They aim to create a positive impact to foster a greater sense of belonging for the children from our diaspora and refugee communities. Cultural Fashion & Arts deliver shows that are visually spectacular, but also educational and empowering. Plus it's lots of fun for everyone taking part.
100% of all profits from this event will go to Cultural Style Week 2023, charity beneficiaries Refugee Action and Refugee Education UK who do great work to help displaced people.
Would you like to take part?
To take part, children need to be between four and sixteen years of age and residents of London. Participating children must have their own cultural clothing and be accompanied by an adult. To apply please click here.
