Welcoming Cultures aims to:
- Celebrate culture and heritage in the city and tell the story of its people
- Connect and collaborate, uniting businesses with institutions, young people, and communities from across the city
- Share our communities' vision for heritage in Sheffield
- Demonstrate how we can be a city of culture, where communities put art at the heart of everything
- Grow care as a culture, not as a cure
Welcoming Cultures is a co-production between Terezia Rostas, Roma cultural consultant and founder of Care for Young People’s Future, and Rosa Cisneros, historian, artist, peace activist and Director of RosaSencis Film Production Company, with support from Sheffield Museums.
