YiCrafts & Friends - Cultural Style Week Fashion Show

Join YiCrafts and friends for an evening of East Asian culture, music and fashion from China’s minority ethnicities in celebration of Cultural Style Week!

Yi-Crafts founder Yiran is a member of the Bai Chinese ethnic minority. Although she has experienced great diversity within the UK and London, she has found that the diverse cultures of China’s numerous ethnic minorities are underrepresented, with ‘China’ viewed as a single cultural source. The opportunity to introduce and share the unique and sometimes surprising customs, traditions and practices of her home province inspires her. It provides the chance to understand both commonalities and differences in culture, and to understand our shared history.

For our inaugural launch event the YiCrafts fashion segment included stunning pieces from China’s minority ethnicities with educational narrations, and there is so much more in store for this event so don’t miss out!
